Raise the Roofs event returns next month, aims to support new inclusive playground in Franklin | Community

Pals of Franklin Parks’ yearly Elevate the Roofs celebration is set for Saturday, Aug. 20, at the Park at Harlinsdale Farm.

Celebration chairs are focusing the 11th annual fundraiser on a new initiative: Making the Desire at Ellie G’s Dream Planet, Franklin’s initially inclusive playground slated to be manufactured at the new Southeast Park. 

Longtime Close friends of Franklin Parks (FOFP) Board Customers Mary Looney, Amy Cross Nance and Katie Spence are serving as Co-Chairs, with Stacey Perry of Down to the Wire leading event logistics at the time once again.

As portion of Increase the Roofs, beloved local community leader Judy Hayes has been named Honorary Co-Chair.
